Cabover I did see that one thanks.
I remember mine having the orange display like the button back lights.
I will look for a more original one.

The RCI 2900, also sold as the Galaxy Uranus.
I have not seen a 2900 for 20 years or more, they did not make many of them, and they were a real bitch to work on.
At the end Ranger started replacing them with the 2950 when it came out.
Very rare radio.

I was actually interested in that eBay listing but something about the "grandfather's radio" labeling seems weird.

I have a rvi 2900, but the orange backlight has went out. 6 pin has been changed over to a 4 pin, and a varible wattage knob has been installed in the back of the radio. I got about $150 in it
