Westland 707 Cb

Does anyone have one of these radios now or in the past. Believe that were made in the early 80's?

The Westland 707 was made between 1981-1984 by Cybernet it was similar in appearance to the Lafayette AFS-640. It used a O2A chip which was common to the era the frequency coverage was 25.515-28.305 MHz. Decent radio for the time but had lousy receivers very prone to splash. Occasionally see them come up for auction typically $50-$75 range.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
