Does it put out 4 watts and not swing much more than 20 watts?

I do not want to undo the continuous tuning mode and put it into CB mode just to find out that it swings widely to 40, 50, 60 watts in CB mode.

The one I had did about 50 or 60 SSB. I believe AM was like 40 or 50 The dead key was 10 or below and the radio was not all cranked up. But I am wondering if someone has it adjusted to do max power on either the high band or low bands. They never balanced out the radio.

As everyone has already stated above, but I will also add that no two of these radios appear to be exactly the same... Your swing (PEP) on AM might be very different to others, especially on these rigs, so please check it with a proper PEP meter!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
