What is this?

I found it inside an abused president Zachary t. Late model with the 2816c pll, same as a 89gtl so I have found. It has 2 power wires and 2 wires labeled TSW1 and TSW2. The TSW wires replaced a capacitor directly in front of the final, c4 I think.

Filth warning...

It was shrink wrapped and just kind of hanging around. Anyone know? I think I'm going to part this rig out as I'm tired of cleaning people's filth out of radios, and I was curious.

Thank you, it was likely added to increase rx to make up for a fault in the rx chain. Had horrible rx even with the amp inline and while checking it, L1 had no effect. Maybe the first rf amp or that coil is at fault, and I could repair it, but since it isn't the 858 version, and is am only, I can't see putting in the effort. It is probably the nastiest radio I have ever opened. I cringe whenever I touch it. But, it does have the original headphone jack which I think will work in my uniden Washington 8719 which has been missing it's jack since someone decided an expo switch would be better there. I disagreed vehemently.
