its made with soft steel brake line, and the radial are soft metal from the beach chair..each leg is 2.5 long and 8 turns of insulated copper wire, the rest is left hanging..

not having an analyzer, what negative effect it might have, counterpoise wrapped like that?

If the wound counterpoise radials are widely spaced & the support structure is non-conductive, it won't do much of anything.
