I am using 50ft of RG-8 6AWL the big stuff...last spring I was going thru a closest and found the box of it that I had purchased back in the 80s and decided to get back into CB radio.

I'm rebuilding the base (hour or 2 at a time), but I had LMR400 on my Maco beam and it's going on the omni while LDF4-50A is going on the Cubex. If I had it to do over again, it'd all be ladder line.

The mobile has the cheap stuff that comes on a Wilson hardmount.
