Whats wrong with my Lincoln??

OK, i got my lincoln in today, it is used but still like brand new in the box! I got it off of a person from the forum, and he never used it, (maybe 5 times) but he had Dr Radio do a peak and tune job on it (OH OOO) but here is the problem! People have told me today that is has a Audio problem, they can here me , but it sounds like it has a warble to it! Somebody else said it kind of sounds off freq, but i was wandering what the deal is? Does more on am than SSB, so what im going to do is, send it to Bills2Way and have him tune it PROPERLY!, But if yuo think there is somebody else that is better on this radio, let me know, Thanks

How big is the power supply that you are running it on?

Possible, i tried everthing! Im not complaining, i love that radio and i planned on taking it to Bills2way, but i was wondering what everybody was saying! I know on my end EVERYTHING is beyond 10-8, it is just a poor tune job, it needs to be adjusted just right! I am either going to bills2way, or Panther electronics. Who is a better tech on this radio you believe, Bill or Richard? But other than that, Nobody will get this radio from me, NOBODY!!!!!!

Dumb Question...

You said your running it on a 70A P/S.. are you using the STOCK power cord?

If not.. try changing the gauge of wire on the power cord to a heavier gauge.. like

10ga or 12ga...

If the gauge is too small it would do the same as a underpowered P/S.



If the power cord is the correct one.. it may need a readjustment, like you thought.

Yea, i have talked to hom before, he is very distracted every time i call him. He sounds like a good tech, but i have him in mind!
