What's Your Favorite Big Tuner?

I have had a few over the years, KW matchbox, Nye Viking, MT2000a, AEA. I now have an Ameritron ATR 30, and love it.

I currently run a Pal-Star AT auto and a modified Ten Tec 238b. I like both, and both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I have to say the the AT auto is the cats meow. I had an MFJ Versa Tuner V and a Heath Kit 2040, the MFJ was OK once I fixed the factory defects, I sold the MFJ recently, getting rid of all MFJ stuff from the shack. I sold the Heath years ago for a $100. I probably should not have let that one get away.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
