Not the most expensive. Not the most flashy. Not the biggest fad. Just your favorite multimeter that does the job. And maybe a little bit about why.

This one looks just like mine. I think mine is the 77.View attachment 73214
Fluke 177, has been fixture at my desk for years, does most everything I could ask and, aside from a fuse being replaced, hasn't given me any trouble.

I got this Fluke 77 in 1990, still going strong. Like a dumbass I gave up the old man's Simpson 260 and a Triplett (can't remember model). Sure would like to have one or both of them now.
My 30 year old Fluke 75 II. It is my bench meter, because it tests semi's better than my newer Fluke meters. Also measures up to 300mA, unlike one of my newer Fluke's. I would miss it dearly if it ever departs. Not the most expensive. Not the most flashy. Not the biggest fad. Just your favorite multimeter that does the job. And maybe a little bit about why.
That's what mine is. Bought it about the same time also.I got this Fluke 77 in 1990, still going strong. Like a dumbass I gave up the old man's Simpson 260 and a Triplett (can't remember model). Sure would like to have one or both of them now.
