did anyone else watch this the other night ? i thought they did a pretty good job ... till the end . seems like they just stuck something in at the end to make us feel like we would survive . but other than i thought it was very interesting . but old fashion 2 way communication methods (ham/cb) allowed us to set up a plan to save ourselves

If we really were attacked all we'd have to do is round up all the loony CB'ers and Hams and give them some equipment and the aliens transmit freq. After a few weeks of jamming their comms 24/7 with political pontification, cursing, "buff-a-low" and "I ain't wearin' no panties" the critters would high tail it back to wherever they came from.
