I have ordered tons of stuff from Adafruit in the past, and I have only ever had one other problem, and that was due to a faulty part. I don't blame them for this. I think Adafruit is a bit expensive, but they do have some very helpful things that nobody else makes.
I did send a message to Quick though, explaining my complaint with their product, and suggesting how they could prevent the problem. I hope they will take note of it.
