first tune the coils for max modulated audio, then do the JP36 "swing mod", using trial and error to find the resistor value that puts the deadkey where you want it.
i would say 2 watts.
this is CB radio, and no one really cares if your audio is perfect or not.
they just want to hear you.
theres way too much "you sound loud and proud" ass kissing on the radio anyway.
