Hey Guys -

I need to buy two coax switches. I want to switch between two radios and two amplifiers. So, one switch should handle 100W PEP, and the other legal limit (2KW). I have three switches (a Workman, and 2 no-names). The Workman looks cheesy inside, and the other two feel real flimsy (I can't open them. Riveted shut.) I am going to start doing FM. So I'm hooking up my quad6 PRO along with my 139XLR, and I'm gonna pair up my TX600 with my Hot Plate Comp Amp. Tired of disconnecting coax cables everytime I change my setup. I want reliable switches that are bullet-proof.

Suggestions ??

I guess you can't get Amazon in Columbia?
I need a pair of Alpha Delta 2s. I have/tried Amazon, but only carry the Alpha delta 4 and it is "currently unavailable." Tried DX ENGINEERING, but their registration site won't let me add my full address in Colombia. WTF ?? Amazon would have gotten it to me in a week or less. Other companies don't ship here, or are "out-of-stock.". If I ship it thru my regular forwarder in Miami - 3 weeks or longer. I'm in the middle of putting this together.

Hewlett Packard 8761A. Outrageously expensive, but capable of handling loads of power while maintaining perfect 50 ohm impedance. I have one here that was gifted to me (I could never afford to buy one LOL!). I use it as my main antenna swtich, activated with a toggle next to the radio.kc-8761a-101-201-301_lg.jpg

JJ, do you want me to order it/forward for you? I understand your frustration.

de nada! Glad you got it worked out. When time comes to upgrade, I'll probably try the alpha Delta brand, let us know how it works out for you.

I bought this one (link below) and it's well built and will handle 2k PEP

and I have 2 of these (link below). The oldest one is about 16 years old and still works great! The newer one was purchased in 2019, and that one delveoped issues with the first 6 months.

I bought this one in January. It's hefty, and I'm usually switching it daily. 1000w

Price is about the same as the Alpha Delta 2. Didn't see an option for SO239 connectors. I really like the solenoid switching though. Waiting on DX Engineering to confirm that it can be shipped.
