Have this old school Philippines Cobra 25 with side mic mount.
This is a 4 pin that you have to have the mic plugged in to receive. Can't remember coming across one of those before. Common occurrence with the Cobra/Uniden 5 pin radios....but not the 4.
So I have a D104 and a Turner +3 here. Both are wired 4 pin Cobra. I use them on RCI 29XX's with a 4 to 6 adapter. Both mics work on the RCI's so they are known-good mics to get that out of the way.
Plug the D104 into the 25, receive comes on and it works fine.
Put on the Turner and it does NOT activate the RX but will TX fine if you key it down.
So why won't the Turner activate the RX on the 25 yet otherwise works fine on another 4 pin Cobra style arrangement?
