Anyone ever used one for a roofmount? I have an adapter for my wilson roofmount just trying to figure out the shaft length for the trucker..

With the lower shaft, the longer the better as far as the antenna is concerned.

I have one on both of our vehicles, on standard mounts with the medium shaft length. Have had good luck with them, and they are relatively quiet. Generally you don't hear them unless you are bucking a headwind. Even then they are fairly quiet. I tried fiberglass first, but I couldn't stand the howling noise at highway speeds.
