It is Rechargable, so you buy an extra Bat Pack and keep one on the charger.
Might not be so bad , flip the PA on, jump out and you can talk to the guard shack, forklift driver or the guy in shipping while pulling the tarps/straps off your load, keep the mic in your shirt pocket.
I know places that still use Cb radio at the shipping dock, we did for years at the plant I was working at.
Baltimore Air Coil and Mission Bell/Canandaigua Wine Company both still use CB radio to communicate to drivers picking up and delivering loads just because of the number of loads they ship.

You could probably have a lot of fun with that mic as well. I see great pranking possibilities.

Many factories around here still use CB for talking with guard shacks and docks.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
