My 7000 and 2000 went down the road. All I have now is a TS-590.
The 2000 was sent packing because it looked hideous on my bench, ugly ass radio, lol.
I really liked the 7000 and will buy a used one again at a later time. I just wanted the 590, so I sold it to fund it's purchase. I am one of those guys that will buy and trade up. I am always looking for something else. Since I retired in 2005, I don't do much of that anymore.

Lol at first paragraph. It does look ugly.
I do the same thing often all the locals know I change radios like socks. Just the way I am.
How is the 590s performance? You like it more than the two mentioned in this thread?
I like it very much. My only gripe is the small VFO knob, other than that, I have no complaints.
