WTB: 10/11 meter radio


The best advice I can give you is to buy a new rig. Get the conversion done by the place you buy it from and you still have the warranty. If you buy one used there is no warranty and the radio could be compromised by some knuckle head that should not have a screw driver. I have fixed too many of those.

I agree, and this does not mean buy a 2950 from Copper and let their "tech" (lolol) convert and tune it. The only way I buy a radio from them or H & Y is leave it in the box and have a local qualified tech do the work.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
