op:I'm running one between a DX959 and TS350HD...it works well (not for sale though, sorry).
To answer your question:
I had this happen about a week ago...passed another guy on a stretch of four lane highway, his TX caused the meter to read when I passed him (probably less than 10 feet of separation). He runs a Magnum and a Fatboy 5-pill, so figure he was pushing about 600 watts right next to me? As soon as I got about 50 feet from him, things were back to normal.
This was the first and only time I have had it happen, so I wouldn't be too concerned about them being affected by errant RF.
I also run one behind a 2950DX and a T/S 500 in a mobile, 12 thru 10 meters, never have had a problem with it.
