I am looking for a BK 2040 signal generator. I have one already but something went bad on the PLL board. I've been working on it for months with the service manual and can't seem to get anywhere. The guy that had it before me accidently transmitted into it with a 200w linear, so god only knows what all is fried. I replaced the attenuator assembly, all of the IC's, repaired several smoked traces on the board, several resistors were burned obviously, the master oscillator section was toast. I've been able to get various sections of the board working again but the final stage of the Voltage Control is getting way too much voltage and I can't figure out why.
So anyway, if you have a spare that you would let go of for a reasonable price I'd really appreciate it!
