Hi, I am looking to buy a Magnum S9 with the 1969 finals and blue lights.

Please let me know what you might have for me with pictures and your asking price!

Thank you all for your time.
Dan

I have an S9 that is lighted Blue. And I was going to list it for sale. One little segment in the channel readout is a bit flaky. Comes and goes when you first turn the rig on.

I however don't know if it's FET or bipolar 1969 based. Got it from a Pal and never opened it because it was on point.

With the Top Gun modulator off, it'll do about 8-10 watts average power and on an active PEP Diawa meter, 70-80 PEP.

With the modulator on, the average power jumps up to 20 watts average power and 80 PEP. This is in AM mode obviously.

Everything works and the RX is rock solid and it has a surprisingly sensitive and quiet receiver.

If you're interested I can post pics later today.

The face is OK, Bezel is fair and it's probably worth the 15-20 bucks to put new top and bottom covers on it if this model gives you an O Face.

But electrically she's tits.

It has Echo and a loud ass Roger Beep. So I can't use it. Because I have a low resistance to bad ideas and next thing you know I'm running POWA someplace I'm not supposed to, stiring up trouble and baiting the commies rolling thru town.

Hi! Can you send me some pictures of it?

Thanks,Dan

I guess maybe 2 segments are touchy in the frequency display. One is in and out with warm up, the 2nd to last one is constant. Your channel 19 cb frequency reads out like 27.195 instead of .185. The "channel" readout is solid.

Everything else about the rig is right down the line as far as function goes.

Is the S9 still available and if so how much are you asking for it?
Yes sir, still have it. Have moved to SW Florida in the last month and it came with me.

It does have the 3 ERF2030 driver/finals in it as well. I have remounted and replaced the heatsink compound on the transistors and the rear mounted heatsink. Performs very well.

I think 375$ shipped via PayPal is fair for it. If you're way far away maybe a few more bucks.
