Up for sale is my Galaxy DX98VHP purchased new from Walcott Radio. They peaked/tuned it, wired the Astatic 636L, installed the amp switch and did the talk back modification as indicated on the invoice. I purchased the T-149G-08 amp board with four 2879’s from Radio Supply. Both purchased early August 2017. I installed the amp board myself. The cover has been removed exactly twice, once by Walcott and once by me. Original box and Astatic 636 included along with stock mic. I’ll also include the factory amp board.

The pictures of output were taken after letting the radio warm up for 30 minutes. Low pwr no amp dead key .907 watts...High pwr 4.17 watts no amp...NO MODULATION. With amp on Low pwr dead key 30.33 watts and High pwr 141.5. With modulation 446.9 high pwr and 439.6 on low pwr. All measurements taken into a Palstar DL2.5 hp dummy load and Alpha 4410a digital watt meter.

On a scale of 1-10 I’d say an 8+. There are a couple of marks on the bottom from when I temporarily had it mounted in my truck. Most of the time it sat on my self. Was used primarily on AM.

Reason for sale it’s time to move onto to something else. Everything works as it should. Besides I have an Icom 7610 and 7300.

Asking $450. Price includes shipping priority mail and paypal fees. You can PM me here or email me at nightthumper@gmail.com. CONUS only not interest in any trades.

Thanks
South of Pittsburgh
Brad
