According to WX4NHC Associate Coordinator Julio Ripoll, WD4R, WX4NHC -- the Amateur Radio station at the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami, Florida -- along with the VoIP Hurricane Net -- will activate on Friday, August 24 in advance of Tropical Storm Isaac.
