I would avoid this one. It uses a pair of 99 cent transistors and cost a lot at $2 per watt, in an unshielded case.
I don’t do facebook, but a ham friend sent me a screenshot from the FB POTA page, where someone posted that they blew up their PAX100 amplifier pretty quickly after inaugural use.
I don’t know what finals that amp uses, but they state in their advertisement that “if needed, the final transistors are available from general parts suppliers and are low cost”. If that’s the case, maybe they should include a couple spares in the price of the amp.
