Does this radio have a "Time-out" function, and if so can it be adjusted.....?
Or do they cut out cleanly if they get too hot.....?
I was rachet jawling with a couple guys this morning on the commute to work, and twice during a long transmission my radio cut out cleanly, just dropped off without fading, or chirping, just cut right off.
I really need to explore the owner's manual a little deeper, and know these things, and of course I'm now at work for the next 24 hours and the manual is at home.......so if anybody can clear this up for me, it'll help. If not I'll have to read the book when I get home tomorrow morning.....
