i have a yaesu ft 747gx parts radio, in somewhat working condition. unit does turn on and receive, but has no tx output power and if it does its a few watts. the tx audio does not sound good at all, sounds distorted and muffled. radio does have a tendency to drift off frequency frequently. it does have the ssb/cw filters installed and does not have the fm board. radio comes with a power cord, do not have a mic for the radio, i did not have a mic when i acquired the radio.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
