Anyone else out here running one of these??? Do you fell that its recieve is noisey and picks up a lot of static overwelming amount at times for me. Is there anyway of quieting this radio or is it just location Im in???

i have one i dont hav ethat problem is this radio new , how old is it , i go tmine when i first came out i belive 1995. i had the am, fm, ssb filter in it as well, i have very little static or white noise it migh tbe just your area or a bad ground on your utility pole in fornt of your house

I also ran one for about a year with no problems. I really liked the radio. It has the basics of what u need to get on the air, and the price is right too. I ended up selling mine when I moved because of antenna restrictions we have(live right next to an airport). I run all mobile now.
