Yaesu FT-897D Display Problem

I just picked up this nice little rig.
But, the Display has ENLARGED numbers on it.
How can I change it back to normal size ?

Nice rig I had one several years ago and if it's the same as my 817:

press 'F' momentarily
rotate the 'sel' knob until you see 'DSP' above one of the A B C buttons under the display
toggling that button should toggle large/small display

I tried it. But, does NOT change the display
back to it's original size...

You might have to do a complete reset of the main processor...you will lose memories and such but that would put everything back to factory default status...

From the current manual from their webpage, top of page 16 will explain the steps to change size.

Page 16 of the manual tells how to toggle it back.to small sized characters. This should work, I use it all the time....I love my 897, great rig.

old post but simple answer, press F key, rotate mem/vfo channel till you see DISP in window, press it to toggle large or small
