Yaesu FT 980 problem.

The problem is this radio is somehow stuck in FSK mode. The switch was loose and when I put another nut on it to tighten the switch it won't go into any mode except FSK. Hope somebody can help me out.

Replace the switch...

Tightening the nut may have shorted the switch, Did you try losening the new nut?

Thanks for the responses. Tried loosening the nut but no change. Radio belongs to another ham so he is getting someone to look at it.
