How would you hold that 857 up against a Icom 706MKIIG? Im thinking of one or the other, im leaning towards the icom, but wanted some input.

sounds good to me, i think im going to stick my neck out and purchase one, i have heard nothing but great things and i have heard them on the air and sound GREAT, i have even heard that 100D and it sounded great, pu i like all the features the icom has, cant ever have enough of those, Ha,Ha,Ha. I was looking at the 857, but who knows, they are all 3 good radios, i guess i will just have to be picky on witch one is REALLY the Big Dog. Take care hams, and god bless.
