YAESU VX-7R -RPT SETTING HELP
I programed a good main and sub frequency into channel 3 and it took and was on both main and sub. Somehow It is being saved as a -RPT and I can't change it to simplex. I pick simplex but it always goes in as -RPT. YAESU can't understand this either. I can program the same frequency to the next blank channel as simplex and its ok but not on pre programmed channels as a replacement. I can try to save a frequency that is -RPT or just leave -RPT as the setting if its simplex. Any Thoughts on removing the
-RPT? Is it maybe set by a number somewhere else in the settings. It seems to program in ok but as soon as I change the programed channel and go back it it picks up the - RPT and not the simplex. Thanks for your help Ron

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
