Remember that the VX-8G includes the GPS. But still, that price seems out of line to me too...

Yeah, that is way out of line. $359 for the unit, $29 for the adaptor and $79 for the GPS is $467 shipped. They wont sell many of the GR's if they are $440.

Yup, at that price, my plain VX-8R is looking good. It's going strong and does all I ask it to.
