Yaesu vx3 stopped receiving - help please

Hiya, new to this forum , looking for some help. My Yaesu VX3 is still transmitting but has stopped receiving. It indicates reception but no sound. Any ideas?

on my vx7r, when it was dying, there was a section at the end of the manual to reset the radio back to factory defaults.

see if your radio's manual has anything like it...

Check if tone squelch is turned on.. that will do it every time
