I picked up a Yaesu VX5R . Tell you they are a bear to program, But that isnt the subject here.

I also got a 30 watt VHF amp to go mobile with and run the HT in front of it. Yes I know the 5 watts will hit most of the repeaters in a city setting. But I live in a rural area and the Xtra 25 watts should do the trick.. The problem I have is that when hooked up the Yaesu will not recieve back and sometimes acts like it wants to squeel. Now I hooked up a Waxoum HT to same amp and works wonders what gives with the Yaesu?
Has any one else had this same issue.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
