Gentlemen, I do a lot of listening, while I am limited to a REHAB facility, on my VX8R. After a few minutes I hear a "POP" from the speaker and then the receive gets all "Tinny Sounding" I turn the radio OFF for a while and then resume listening and the receive is back to normal. DO I have a problem here, or is there a quick fix ???

This is a frequently asked question in the VX_8GR Yahoo group. It is because the VX-8R is waterproof, and pressure builds up under the waterproofing membrane when it warms up. I don't know if there is a fix or if it is something you have to live with if you want it to be waterproof.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
