I took a photograph of the inside of my car. I'm wondering if the two things circled in this photography could possibly be where the previous owner of my vehicle had a CB unit set up. I've owned the vehicle for about 1 and a half years now, and I am just now (maybe) realizing what these things are lol.

Re: Yet another newbie question -Sorry for cluttering your f

Possible, it could have been a previous install. Also, no problem... you're not cluttering the forum, you are asking a question, and that's what it's here for. Welcome to the forum.

Looks to me like it could've been for a CB. And that's not clutter...all we do on the internet is sit around and look at radio stuff! <img src=http://users.joplin.com/dutch64804/icon95.gif ALT=":jumpy"> <img src=http://users.joplin.com/dutch64804/yelclap.gif ALT=":yelclap"> <img src=http://home.comcast.net/~shockwav/smiley.gif ALT=":jmpsml">

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
