So let me ask if anyone can help with this, I have a pic with the contact and wires attached and a description of what the manual says it should be.4 PIN.
Pin 1. - Hot lead of Mike
Pin 2. - shield of mike
Pin 3 - from switch
Pin 4 - mike switch
A jumper is placed from pin 2 to pin 4
So what wire color is what per the contact? Crystal is referring to the wires going direct to microphone
So when I hooked up the mike when I got it originally it didn’t key the radio. When I touched 6Vdc to pin 3 it would key but with the Mike button not pushed in, when I pushed it in it went to RX?
None of the 4 pins in the radios connector have any voltage.
