Can a Ad203 stinger board be put In a zachary t president. If so anyone done one? Would I need an external power supply for it or can I run it of the radio? Any help would be appreciated.

I once put an RFX75 in a cobra 89GTL base station which is the same on the inside as the newer version of the zac t (upd2816 pll)
You have to replace the power supply with one that can handle the increased current draw and the final section may need some parts values changed.
I have no experience with the old (upd858) version but it should work.
