You can buy 8 pin mic plugs from Rat Shack, or order the good Heil plugs from Cheapham.com from the accessories page...(a pack of 2 plugs for under 8 bucks)....
Once you get the plugs, a soldering iron, some resin core solder, figure out the wiring and use one of those turner +3 mics....

Thanks for info, I found a guy who makes up any speciality microphone adaptor to the radio you request, he is making me a 8 pin , about 8 inches of cable and the adaptor on the other end to use my turner with the radio for $27, which isn't bad.

That's not too bad Doctor, not much more than Heil gets for mic addaptors.
If the guy has a website post a link to it......(or a phone number)

BTW.....I heard that Alinco isn't making the HF radios anymore....????

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
