Does anyone have this jewel ? I just got one today in the mail. That thing is big and loaded with great info. My daughter saw it and I told her she had to read it tonight and give a book report in the morning. She wasn't impressed :D

I have one from a few years ago. It's a great reference for just about any ham radio topic. I think mine came with a CD that I'll have to look for, too. I also have an older ARRL Antenna handbook. That's a good one, as well.

The one I just bought is for the year 2000. It is like brand new. I got it off Ebay for under $5 . I figured it would help me in the things I don't understand electronically as well as a good project resource .

great books, even the oldies from the 1940's onwards can be interesting,
its surprising what those old timers knew back then.

These are very in depth books. They cover a lot. This one is around 1200 pages. About 2x's thicker than my Extra Study book. They include a lot of projects. But you are right. Those study books are a goldmine for learning.

Yes they are great books. Last year for Christmas I received the Handbook and the Antenna Book which also comes with a CD. Both are chock full of information and great references.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
