I am a new member here, and am not sure if I am posting this in the
correct section.

To start, I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Ryan and I am totally new to the Amateur Radio scene.
(Other than an old CB radio which I use to talk to fellow four wheel
drive enthusiasts while out on a 4X4 trail or back country road.)

I have no experience nor equipment yet in regards to Ham, HF, VHF,
or UHF for that matter!
But I look forward to learning the ropes and getting some equipment so
that I can stay in touch whilst being out exploring.

Before I post any questions on this forum, I'll take the time to
read the information available here and on other sites!
I'll make good use of the search feature here, and learn as much as
possible before I ask questions which have most likely been asked
hundreds of times before!

Cheers
Ry'

welcome to the forum ryan .

if you want to wait to ask questions thats fine , but we like questions around here :)

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
