last time i bought a 102" they were like 20 bucks at radio shack.....

FWIW i agree..........

IF you CAN run a 102" then do it......

i have one on my dodge pickup on the bed rail right behind the cab and i have 1.2:1 on 11M and only a 1.3 or so up well into 10M......once i start getting over 28.6 or so it starts to climb...
im just using the straight whip with NO spring

this works GREAT with the HR2600 since i can use 10M OR 11M on the same radio/antenna combo(shhhh......dont tell the federales)

however I cant run a 102" on the big truck (well i could but it would be LOL up there on the mirror) so im running a francis amazer on that
