recently purchased a ICOM UT-106 i dont know where the ribbon goes..? i have instructions. i plugged it in without the ribbon and there is no DSP part on my menu display? is this filter not compatible with the NON-MKII and 2g versions?
 

You are correct. The UT-106 is not compatable with the old IC-706. It is with the MKII, IC-718 and some of their receivers. That info is available on the web.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
