Forum response issue on my PC.

When I see a thread with a new post it is highlighted. When I visit and leave the thread and/or maybe even exit the forum, on returning I still see the thread highlighted even though no new activity has occurred.

I also have a PM that is showing a "1" in the notification area, even though I have opened and answered the post. It is like things are just hung up.
