Did you 'KEY' the mic?!?!?!


1. Hook up all the stuff in the picture above.
2. Turn on the radio
3. Set the 'fwd/ref' switch to 'fwd' ('forward')
4. Then "KEY THE MIC"

What happens then????

Either you are still doing something basically wrong, or the radio is fried.
Find the nearest shoppe and have them see what you have going.
I would - at this point.

Did you look for a shop in your area?
What part of the UK are you in?

A solid 30km North.
Ring them up and see if they are open in the weekend.
Bring a few quid.

WEll. I bought a self earthing mag mount, hooked it up, and bang, the SWR matcher works! now to get it all setup!
