I'm looking at buying a working Tektronix 453 oscilloscope.

No probes included though.

What would you gentlemen suggest as an inexpensive replacement? (Less than $50 shipped ideally) I know you can get a Chinese 10x probe for $10, but I'm a little leery about the quality.

They would probably work.

I would be concerned about using them for high voltage though.
Not that they aren't capable; just leery of working with high voltage.

I won't be poking around HV a lot. This will mainly be used for monitoring my station output along with a frequency counter.

However, I may use it on occasion to ensure caps are working as they should, and ensuring AC ripple is kept to a minimum. Heck, it may even see some work outside to monitor fuel injectors!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
