Just Built it last night, here is some photos. it is attached to a 6 foot 1 1/2 thick wooden dowl and it is just about 35' in the air attached to a exhaust vent on the house.

you know iv never really looked into 70cm but ill try it. yes its a 1/2wave j pole.

im thinking about polishing the copper. im sure many years later itll end up Greenish like our sexy ms liberty!

Great! I'm able to hit Catalina rptr on the island 80 + Mi away with 5w love it. winsystem is no problem as well. much better then the 5/8 mobile

Just get rid of that LOSSY 90 deg. adapter and all will be great!

i removed because i think it was giving me problems.

understand,.... but,.... if you can make it over the simplex remote bases with the high gain antennas, pointed right at the repeater on the input,...... then the j-pole must work
