When I take video with my sony handycam.....every time I hit standby it creates another file when I start recording again....my question is how do I combine these files back into one file to upload onto y-tube?

Thanks...Es :)

Is there a "pause" as opposed to standby?
Stand by May be so that it is wound up and ready to go, and thinks it is a new Vid to be made....not just re-starting the old one......
( like I think I know what I am talking about)

It just has a start/stop button...thats it.....its a sony dcr-sr45

Your camera has an internal hard drive. Each time you pause or stop recording, the video will write the current recording to the hard drive sequentially.

The more intermittent or short duration videos you shoot will result in numerous files. Your camera should have come with a video editing software CD. If you don't have it, you can probably download it from Sony's website. You can probably use Windows Movie Maker to stitch the files together. There are numerous freeware editing programs online as well.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
