Age old problem... the computer age anyway. This is something you can try. If you are getting trashy electrical noise on your base while you have the computer on....and get this noise only on some channels while others are quiet, then check this - Many monitors are notorious for spewing out RF noise. If you are getting extra noise on frequencies/channels that you need to use, try this.

Turn your monitor off. Does the noise go away?

If so, then go into CONTROL PANEL, then DISPLAY, then SETTINGS, and then change the RESOLUTION 1 step either up or down.

The monitor will still spew the noise but it will move to different frequencies/channels. So this should move the noise off of the channel you need to one that you don't use.
