Boy howdy, did we have some strong winds in the Houston area on Friday 4/20/12. Here is my Gain Master bending in the wind. Everything including my Starduster stood up in good stead.

Winds coming from the S/SE? Cold front from the NW moving in. And you are in the middle of it. Severe storms forecast and possible a 'nader or two. Listen for the sirens and keep the TV set on!

a dude here has talked on a a99 for years with the mast bent from wind and the antenna darn close to a 45 degree angle
